What the heck is a "Story Map"?
If you're in the geospatial industry, you would know of ESRI. According to their website, they are the "global market leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, location intelligence, and mapping".

One of their products is the ArcGIS Story Map. You basically make a blog post with interact-able geospatial data. It's really cool and would be a neat way to showcase my GIS portfolio, but I'm not going to pay the industry price of $550/yr just to make fancy blog posts.

So that brings us to here, my website, where I try to showcase my skills. Upon updating this site, I ended up adding other skills to round things out. This isn't a story map, but it's Not a Story Map.
About Me
Since I began my professional journey as an environmental scientist, I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to collaborate on some exciting solo and collaborative projects. From assisting my professor with analysis of global carbon content within the ocean to working in an industrial environmental testing lab, I’ve accrued lots of experiences and knowledge that brings me closer to achieving my goals.
