A Bit About Me

I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to collaborate on some exciting solo and collaborative projects. From assisting my professor with analysis of global carbon content within the ocean to working in an industrial environmental testing lab, I became a team player. I developed problem-solving skills and improved productivity in my team by focusing on the prevention of workplace problems.

During COVID-19, I pursued a graduate-level certificate in GIS to build on my brief mapping experience in my undergraduate thesis project. The jump from a laboratory to an office work space was unique, and different challenges arose. I took this time to participate in multiple conferences and learn how LiDAR and geo-mapping technology are playing a helping hand in in various industries.

I discovered that I'm more interested in the business aspect of businesses, rather than the pipetting or data QCing. I started my own small business called Sticky Bun where I sell stickers created by independent artists. It's very fun to learn how to do something that I've always wanted to do, but the lack of consistent income is a harsh reality. I'm looking to find jobs in business so that I can continue to learn more business management skills via a mentor.
