Roll20

If you're playing any form of TTRPG in this day and age, then using Roll20 is pretty critical. With the advent of COVID and the lockdown, people started exploring virtual tabletop spaces to continue their TTRPGs.

Roll20 is the cheapest option out of the common VTTs. There's 3 tiers: free, plus, and pro. Even with the free option, you can get a lot of features and overall sitewide access. It really depends what you want out of the VTTs. For me, I just wanted a virtual space to have visual aid because I'm a visual storyteller. There's other VTTs like Foundry VTT and WotC's upcoming VTT, but I haven't yet explored them.

I have +1800 hours of playing in Roll20, and so many achievements unlocked. It's quite easy to unlock them, so it's not much of an achievement. I really like Roll20's Looking for Group feature and it's helped me get so many players for my games. I also met so many great online friends through Roll20, so I'm very greatful.
